I finally have a new computer!!!! So, I need to get writing!! I have to make this quick though because I have a lot to get done this evening. I just wanted to let you all know that I had a wonderful Thanksgiving up at the cabin.
I can't tell you how nice it is to get away and spend time with my husband and kids without any electronics!! We played board games, the kids ice skated and I helped make the Thanksgiving feast!!
I was thrilled that I could assist my husband with one of the most important meals of the year! I made the stuffing, mashed potatoes and even the cranberry sauce (I prefer the canned jelly stuff and my husband's family teases me about it)! Back in the day, I would sit and watch my husband cook the entire meal. Words can't express the feeling I have that I'm capable of helping him, so I won't even try. All I will say is this: Steve for years you cooked amazing Thanksgiving dinners and you never once complained that I couldn't help and I will be forever grateful. I love you dearly and am grateful to have you by my side.
After living the first 33 years of my life thinking I had Spastic Diplegia, a form of Cerebal Palsey, I was correctly diagnosed with Dopa Responsive Dystonia (DRD). I am on new medication and doing things that I never imagined possible. This has changed the lives of my husband and two daughters. I truly believe that I am living a miracle each and every day. Life can't get any better than this!
